  3. You create a format when you import data into FastLabel from other applications.  A format simply tells FastLabel how to arrange the fields in the file so they are appropriate for your label.

  5. For instance, you can create a format that puts the last name and first name on the same line, separated by a comma and a blank space.

  7. Formats can be saved an reused.  If you are importing data for shipping labels from the same database every day this is very handy.
